Nohra Adams BA, MPH, MS
Nohra received her bachelors in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University Of California, Santa Barbara in June 2000. She then went on to do two years of research in microbiology at UT Houston Medical Center. She completed a double masters in Physician Assistant Studies and Public Health from Touro University in 2005. She also attained a certification in Integrative Nutrition from The Institute For Integrative Nutrition in December 2015.
Nohra has been practicing as a Physician Assistant in San Jose, California since 2005. She has worked in reproductive health, primary care, and orthopedics. She is currently practicing reproductive health and primary care at a community clinic in South San Jose where she advocates nutrition and organic living as a way to maintain health and well being.
Nohra is also a personal and corporate holistic health and wellness coach and the social media blogger known as The Healthy Fig. She is passionate about inspiring others to make safer healthy eating and lifestyle choices. She believes each and everyone of us needs to take responsibility for our health. Her goal is to empower people to be mindful of every bit of food that enters our body. By making healthy eating and lifestyle changes through nutritional education we can change our health, our environment, and the world.
When Nohra isn't promoting health she is a wife and mommy of two. During her spare time she is an avid hiker, runner, and yogi who loves the great outdoors.
